by bazaar » Sat Mar 14, 2009 1:03 am

Hello,

how to export one +64000 pic from APP? What is the .KRO format?
How to work with a +30000 or +64000 pic?

Thank!

Xavier

For big panorama, either you use PSB format which is really designed for that, or our new KRO format.
It's a brute format that doesn't have any limitation ( well, there's one : width <= 4294967295 ...). This format will be documented and readable by all our tools ( including Autopano Tour that will be able to make multiresolution krpano out of it ).

Latest news is that the Gigapan uploader will support the KRO format :) it may not make it into the most recent release but Gigapan are working on implementing it.

Yup - I sent the GigaPan team a .kro file I made from a gigapan import (rendered at 5% size to email) for them to work with.
