Today after a long time (over a month) I was testing my setup and getting ready for a trip to Mexico. I normally use Nokia 810 with my Merlin head. This morning when I tried to connect to the head from my Nokia it indicated it is connected but Init is not! To troubleshoot, I deleted the pairing in Nokia, created a new pair, same result (see attached)!!

The I tried with my netbook with Windows 7 and had same problem!

Several times had the same experience - that´s why i stopped using the Nokia with Merlin and used the T&C handheld instead. Never had any problem with that one . . :cool:
I´m afraid this whole simulation-stuff in PapyWizard causes errors very quick. Check the simulation settings!

Thanks Klaus for your reply, but where is "simulation settings" ? (never mind I understand)

If I am going to buy TC Controller, I would just get the Panoneed.

Realized my Nokia clock was not set correctly, it should be 2013-04-17 instead of 2013-03-14.

Ok, there is a communication issue. Ar you sure you didn't change the baudrate of the bluetooth module ? Or a broken wire?

OK, I figured it out. The Merlin head is not powering up! The way I found it out is, I removed the BT, connected the HC powered it on, no power to the HC!!

Can any one help me fix this? I am pretty good with soldering, just need guidance to fix it.

Are you using internal AA batteries, the Panogear/T&C internal Lithium Ion batteries, or an external power source?

Finally I solved the problem! It is not you BT module, not the Panohead or the batteries, but Chinise made power adapter!!

I use mono-block portable power pack (http://www.paulcbuff.com/vagabond.php), with an A/C adapter. Fortunately I had a spare ..., plugged it in and Volla!
