I do small speed test with panogear/merlin haed.

but when I get back laptop I lent.

I will compare also wired connections (HC controller) - 8x AA 1,2v nimh =9,6v vs 12v lesd battery (in fact >14v).

Finally I present new results of panogear/merlin speed test.
I use here also data from first test.

Claudevh - with Your settings, time for panorama is just longer for ~0,5s x number of shots. In test was 50 shots, and results is A +26s, +29s; B +31s, +21s; C +20s, + 21s; D +25s, +24s. Average is +24,625s.
(Bluetooth + laptop (windows); 8 x 1,2V AA)

Just removed last post, bacause updated last test. Newest firmware for head is 02.09.81 - but is not faster.
Motor Controller Firmware 02.06.81 vs 02.07.81 vs 02.09.81.

wherefrom did you get the 2.09.81? I only know about 2.07.81 ( http://www.papymerlin.com/merlin-firmware-upgrade/ ), and google doesn´t find you´r version.

Zip file include also Motor Controller Firmware Loader v1.53. I used is 4 times and had 4 times bluescreen on my pc. You can use MC Loader from http://www.papymerlin.com/merlin-firmware-upgrade/
