Can someone straighten his pano? Need Help.

hi:

1. i'm having a very tough time trying to straighten this pano. i've tried the automatic leveling feature (didn't work). i then tried using the vertical line method--> i was able to straighten out the ocean horizon, but the ends of the pano was then problematic. what's frustrating is that i can get a very straight pano via stitcher, however the actual stitch job isn't as good as autopano. i wish one application would have the best of both worlds.

2. anyway, if anyone has a solution to this problem, i'd be much appreciated etc...

thanks. harry shin

This is a tough one for APP if the auto horizon tool cant align.
I recently witnessed a similar situation & I turned the pano 90° & then used vertical align tool by drawing the line on the horizon, that did the job & I again did -90°.
Try my method it might work in this case too.

Check the CPs! I've had plenty of those panos. Usually the problem is that in one set of images the CPs are set on the foreground and in another - on the far away landscape. What I do is set all CPs in all image pairs to the medium distance (by deleting the "wrong" ones first and adding new ones), then optimize and that's that.
