Problem stitching HDR's

by mark_anderson_us » Mon May 25, 2009 6:02 pm

I took a bunch of bracketed shots this morning, combined in Photomatix and produced .exr's

I open in Gigiapan 2.0.1 and the tumbnails look OK, but the detection process gives me solid grey (auto color and auto hostigram off) (see below)

If i turn on above two options, I get a usable image, but I can't manually edit or use CP Editor. As soon as I hover over an image in the editor, i get solid grey (see 2nd image).

Anyone got any ideas?

Regards

Mark

As stated in my other post (bug section), I have the same problem mark.
HDR is very important for me, I hope that it will be fixed soon.

hi:

1. this is to also confirm what appears to be the same problem i talked about recently (but i never posted any images). ie i had no problems stitching together the .hdr radiance files with autopano pro, but the resulting pano when subsequently tonemapped in photomatix was definitely strange (kind of like black /white, monochrome type image).

2. i know it's some type of bug with autopanopro 2.0 because using the same .hdr files, produced a normal looking pano via realviz stitcher (ie .hdr files stitched, then later tonemapped via photomatix etc...).

3. as with the prior post, i hope this is fixed soon etc...
