Autopano Video on a Multi-User System

by jemski » Thu Jul 26, 2018 8:27 pm

Hi There:

We're using Autopano video on a Mac and a second Autopano+Giga license on a Windows PC. We've found that Autopano has to be re-registered for every new user that has an account on the machine. This is a not a major problem on the PC's (annoying though) as it is primarily using only one account. But, the Mac is in a multiple user environment and it is deep frozen for security purposes; so settings are not saved when the machine is rebooted. Also, we are not permitted to have a single user account on that machine (for security reasons) and the Autopano software registration process requires a time consuming unfreeze-freeze cycle.

Is there any process on OSX (and Windows) to set Autopano to remain registered for all users of a particular machine. As it stands this is next to impossible to deploy.

We do not have any specific license to avoid that issue but I will send you a trick.
