[solved] Automatically resizing images for GSV?

Hey all,

one question. Sometimes, when stitching the output image will be like 14987x7417 pixels.
now that is not a 2:1 ratio and the GSV app has issues uploading them. What I do currently is:
- cut horizontal resolution to 14986 (so it can be divided by 2)
- calculate y resolution
- add black pixels to the bottom of the flat pano

-> since I need to fix the nadir anyway, the additional 100 pixels black dont harm me

is there such an option in autopano??

You can force to create a full 2:1 pano.. Then export the cube faces from PTP or krpano droplet. Then edit the nadir or zenith using Photoshop.. But be careful not to edit the outer edges, otherwise you will see lines when the pano is put back together.. After editing in Photoshop, import the cube faces into PTP...

..

@bastibasti I've found that if you set Default projection to "Spherical" and Default crop to "Maximum Projection Range" then it will create a 2:1 pano. I then force the dimensions to 14142 x 7071 to yield the maximum GSV pano of 100 megapixels.
