Manual detection - predefine row/columns on import

by ArcticLight2 » Tue Apr 25, 2017 8:40 am

Is it possible to tell APG the proportions of the panorama upon import?
The number of rows, and number of columns, and the number of images in each row/column, and even the overlap %?

I lost the config files for some large panoramas, and now stitching the blank areas (blue sky) is impossible.
If I could force tell APG that the panorama is eg. 40 rows and 20 columns, and even use the file names/numbers,
then APG should know where (in which position in the panorama) each image should be, and try to stitch based on the other part of the panorama which have details to find overlap. (rather than just try to estimate)

The only options I see is to define FOV, but of course I do not remember or know this.

I have tried searching but could not find anything on this.

Hello,

Have you tried the Gigapan importer? http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... -_Import...

Best regards,
Olivier

Thanks Oliver,

That did it. Well not on the first attempt, but on the second.
EDIT: On second attempt I checked "skip optimization", and then it worked.
Trying to render it out now and see if can save the pano, or I have to redo the shoot tonight.

Ole
