Fixing errors

by greytail » Fri Jul 08, 2016 11:57 pm

Hi:
I have an auto pano here but it has some slight errors....in the tree line and in the road. How do I fix this in Auto Pano or on Panotour. I have both pieces of software.

Here is the url of the pano
http://www.droneflynewengland.com/willo ... ughby.html

It was taken with an Inspire Pro, an Olympus 12mm, using DronePan and 71 images.

Overall, I am very pleased with some software :)

Hey

Why 71 images? With a 24mm ff equivalent (which I believe your 12mm is), you need only about 10 shots. Too many shots = stitching errors.

Make sure your control points are on the trees, not on the clouds.

If you have reason to believe that your "device" moved (drone), you could right-click on a photo in the panorama editor window and set it to "optimize viewpoint" (don't have Autopano in front of me right now to check the exact name), then re-optimize.
