APG 4.0 beta 1

by HansKeesom » Fri Dec 19, 2014 11:45 pm

First glance : userinterface not changed, fortunately. My GPU is much better used and no sign of the famous last core problem. All we wait for now is the price of final version/ update price when having 3.5 already.
Me think I am using the beta for a while now. as things only seems to go faster.

Coming from a rather critical person like myself, this is good news!

....oops fist crash, ran out of memory. Guess editors are leaking again/still

and half an hour later, back to 3.7 as the beta is crashing all the time

Programm suddenly disappears from my screen a few times. No crashreport made. Not very stable, needs lots of debugging still it looks like.

the updat prices are only if you have no license for 3.7 yet. We have no idea what things will cost when you have a license for 3.7 already. They should be less, problably 99euro for APG

That case you would have been one of the very few to actually get B1 to work..

If the lack of stability stays like this, I won't even spend 79 euro and stick with 3.7.1
