Q: Difference between APP vs APG re: blending?

by harryshin » Thu May 01, 2014 4:28 am

Hi:

1. I recently posted a question in regards to getting better blend results in the sky (I currently have APP).

2. Based on a reply, I checked out APG and I don't know if it's my imagination or not, but it seems that the APG blending seems to be smoother. It appears that in the render engine, APG utilizes smart blend whereas APP doesn't have the smart blend option (at least the current one).

3. Question: in regards to getting the blend results, is there a difference between APP vs APG?

Thanks in advance for the info. Harry

APP and APG do have exactly the same blending engine.
A difference remains in HDR option, if you do fusion.
