Hi there I have a problem with my sigma 8mm lens. it is the first time I used a fisheye.
The onlything I didnt had was a panoramic head.
What ever I do I cant get perfect solution Mostly the lines of ceiling are broken I have uploaded a sample (Source images, images of the Autopano setup and the result) to my web page.
Where did I go wrong. Please help me.
Here is the set up:
Canon 5D MIII
Sigma 8mm fisheye
Tripod with no panoramic head
What did you do wrong?:
You didn't use a pano head.
You didn't have the camera/lens set at the NPP; with your camera/lens combination this should be oissble without a proper pano head if shooting just a single row of 3 or 4 images. with a small positive pitch.
You are using APG 3.0.8 and not 3.5.
You are not using the ideal fisheye lens for your camera.
You would do better with a proper pano head and a fullframe (as opposed to a circular) fisheye lens.
