Two comments:

1. You seem to be using a rather old version of APG - 2.5.2.

You might like to try the new APG 3.5 beta 1?

2. If you'd like to make the images available for download as a ZIP file I'd be happy to take a look.

Check the Group image properties and Crop circle as a first step.

Also Group settings.

Have you removed both parts of the lens cap?

There is a flat front section and also a ring around the lens barrel.

You need to remove both.

Briliant thank you so much! cant believe I've missed that! not familiar with the lens at all, only used once. one other thing, the nodal is dead centre in the camera view finder but it all seems out, what do you think?

I think most new owners of the Sigma 8mm FE lens fall into that 'trap' when first shooting panos - I know I did back in the day.

See: http://www.easypano.com/forum/display_t ... picID=4162

It may help.

Camera sensors are often not perfectly centred.
