another stränge thing:

by klausesser » Sat Oct 26, 2013 4:25 pm

After instaling PTP2 Beta and upgrading from OSX 10.6.8 Snow Leopard to 10.7.5 Lion i don´t have any "Kolor" folder in "Library -->> Application Support" anymore.
So i can´t Paste the "lensid.txt" which Lionel mailed me.

Any other Mac user here who can check his/her "Library -->> Application Support" Folder?

(i checked both, the user´s library and the system´s library)

best, Klaus

that is OSX hiding your library folder in 10.7
You'll have to trick it into showing you where it is, then best thing to do is create and alias of your library and then you'll have ease of access to it. It's a rather annoying thing OSX decided to do.

There's a load of free scripts to show all folders out there....

Hi! Thanks!

But the library Folder is not hidden - as you can see in the screenshots comparing my MacBook Pro and my Mac Proin the other post. It´s JUST the "Kolor" folder in "Application Support" which is neither visible nor to find via the search.

ALL other Folders in Application Support are visible. But not the one from Kolor. So i don´t think it´s an OS issue . .

there's 2x: library>application support

one is on the root of the OS and the other is on your user. The user one is hidden, and this is where:
app support> kolor
resides i do believe...

Sorry: there´y two Libraries, yes: user´s library and system´s library. But there is only ONE Application Support: in user´s library.

User´s library is not and was never hidden on my machine (MacPro).

I copied the "Kolor" Folder from my MacBook Pro´s user-library into my Mac Pro´s user-library.

Now it works as usual.

Again: all Folders from other apps in "Application Support" are there: as example: AfterEffectsPro, PremierePro, AvidMediaComposer, Autodesk Smoke, DavinciResolve, Photoshop, Cinema4D and lots of others.

ONLY the Kolor folder in "user -> library -> Application Support" was gone . . not just invisible: gone . . and that´s funny =D

But as said: problem solved on my side.

best, Klaus
