converting from .PSB to .kro or/for deepzoom?

by inMotion » Thu Jun 07, 2012 5:32 am

Does anybody know a tool to convert photoshop .psb back to .kro or to the deepzoom format? (not sure of the file extention)

Gigatiler 2 keeps crashing at 99% conversion. KroUtils seems to only go from KRO to RAW and no the other way around.

PS only lets me save the 10.5 gigapixel pano in .raw, .tiff (wont save as its over 4gb) and .psb.

This utility doesn't support .PSB - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24819

Not what you asked for but here's a tool to convert kro to deepzoom.

Memory efficient (and simple) tool to split a KRO file into a DZI (deep zoom image) format (compatible with seadragon) :

XnView claims to read and write both PSB and KRO:

If you can open the panorama in PS, then if I remember well Microsoft has a plugin for PS that does the direct export. Look for something like photosynth export plugin and you'll find it.
