Hello!
I'm having trouble loading an autopano swf into another flash document.

Is this locked or it's simply bug?

Thanks in advance

well, on Klaus page it is said:

The releases here are not complete packages, only the new and relevant parts will be included in each download.

so I assume to download the actual krpano package, unzip/install it to a seperate folder of your choice and than replace the original files with the files of the alpha package...

Hey there... For now you can actually load the swf movie using action script... I am using CS5 on a Mac but I am sure you can do in in any version. I will put a demo up tomorrow for you...
I have given heaps of software apps a trial where they claim to turn a swf file into a flv file.. but they do not work for this software... You can put the swf file in two ways.. sitting on top of your movie like a new window or embed it.. I put a post up the other day asking about it but not one replied so I worked it out for myself.. I assume until I saw this tread that no one else had the same issue... Nice to know that I am not so silly after all...

Oh.. and this is my first VR ever... I messed up the stitching so I still have to learn the technique... http://members.westnet.com.au/dps/DudleighVR/NewTourTest.html

Hey, as promised here is the action scrip code to embed a swf into another fla file.. Only.. it used to work but now i have upgraded to CS5 it doesn't... emmm... it might on yours... just copy and past this into a a blank layer... also give the Label name 'myLoader' I will have to work out what going wrong.. it might be just a case that it needs changing in CS5 a bit...

var myLoader:Loader = new Loader();
addChild(myLoader);
var url:URLRequest = new URLRequest("your-flash-file-name-here.swf");
myLoader.load(url);

Just worked it out that you have to put this script into AS3... I forgot... but still trying to get it to work.. will let you know when it happens... but these types of swf files might not work at all doing this.. I am sure they can but it might need a slightly different script.. I get know errors on AS3 but still no swf loaded... I will upload it all and test it then.... it might have to be uploaded to work...

ok.. this link will show you that the script works .. the large white background is the main flash file and the orange square is the embedded swf file I created for testing.. Unfortunately it will not work with kolor swf movies..

Sorry, I thought I knew now to fix it... not sure why they do not work... I will play with it more...
