How to clear all control points at once? and HIDE them?

by pstein » Wed Jul 06, 2011 10:15 am

And just another question concerning the Control Point editor.

Assume I have set a dozend of control points manually.
How can I clear them IN ONE STEP?

The only way have found so far is to explicitely mark manually every single control point rectangle and delete them later.

I miss a toolbar icon "Delete all current control points".

Similar related problem: Assume I set control points not manually but let AP do it by using geomatric analysis.
When I click now the opposite icon in the toolbar "Clean all control points" then all the control points (with green rectangles)
are not completely removed but turned into red rectangles.

How can I remove them all visible as well?

In the CP editor:

select all the images in the top pane (click top then shift/click bottom)

in the displayed CP summary in the bottom pane, click the top entry then shift click the last entry to select all these

right click in the bottom pane and select remove links

(that's how I do it anyway, maybe there's a quicker way but I haven't found it yet0

The History tool is to be used when you want to cancel what you just did. It works for any action and is especially useful when using the CP editor.

If I remember well, it will remove in a single step all the manual control points you added.
