VR Reframe plugin | Yaw, Pitch & Roll don't work

VR Reframe plugin | Yaw, Pitch & Roll don't work

Hi there,

My plugin is well installed and activated but when I change the values of Yaw, Pitch & Roll, nothing happens on my clip.
Even when clicking and dragging my mouse on the preview (like it's done in this video : https://youtu.be/EUbF1hqVqCk) doesn't work : I only see the values moving but image stay still.

I've tried different sequences settings but it still doesn't work.

I'm running PP CC 2017 (Lastest version), AutoPano Video Pro 2.6.0 & GoPro VR Player 2.2.0.

Any idea?

Hi there,

I've tried differents things since but it still doesn't work.

Though it might only come from the preview but even after changing the Yaw, Pitch, Roll & FOV values and exporting a sample of my sequence, the exported video doesn't have any effect except on the FOV...

Hi,

Have you tried using GoPro VR Horizon to see if using yaw, pitch and roll sliders don't work neither?

Hello,

My apologies for the very late reply.
Does it occur with all your projects or just one specific? Have you try to uninstall AVP, restore AVP defaults settings (http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... ons#On_Mac), uninstall GoPro VR Player as well, then reinstall AVP/GoPro VR Player and try again?
Also, if you can test on another system?

Thanks both for your reply.

I've removed everything, and reinstall it all and it still doesn't work BUT when I create a new project with a new sequence, it' working !
Looks like the issue is coming from my sequence settings. What's recommanded?

I was working these settings (knowing that my export will be in 1080) using sources from different camera and with different specs, size and codecs :

1920 x 1080
00;01;04;14, 25,00 i/s
48000 Hz - Stéréo
Projection VR : Aucun

Last question : Does source need to have 360 info injected to be recognized as 360 content by the plugin ? I don't think so as looks like it's working with any kind of content but worth asking.

More update, I've managed to make the Plugin work on a clip of my timeline, but when I apply it to other clips it doesn't work! Same as before, only the FOV works but not the rest.
When I put the clips separately into different sequence, then it works but when I want to apply to variosu clips from my edit.

We need to finish this video by the end of the week : Tradeshow upcoming. A fast answer would be highly appreciate !

Hi,

May be as temporary solution, have you tried using nested sequences to isolate each of clips for which you applied plugins?

Yes it worked for now but not a very convenient way. It will do for this project, but do you have any idea where my issue might come from? As I said, I'm working with a lot of different file from different sources. And even after encoding everything to somewhat the same specs, issue is still there.
