Quick question...

I have a multi-site license and I want to embed a swf generated by APT into my drupal site. How do I do this?

I have tried many methods with best result - I have a black box which brings up error messages "ERROR: download of "Panoramic - Hout Bay Harbour/Pano - Hout Bay Harbour0/0/0_0.jpg" failed.

Make sure you uploaded all the pictures on your server and the file hierarchy is respected. Also verify the right access on your pictures (read access at least).

Do you really have spaces in the filenames?

best, Klaus

Yip...real spaces...

Perhaps that is the issue? I'll make new tours with _ instead and see if that helps.

Does my KrPano license file not need to be loaded somewhere near the swf file?

I'm still having issues...

Pano opens perfectly if I place the URL of the swf in the browser, but embedded in drupal there's no joy.

Just brings up a black screen with errors as described above.

What am I doing wrong?

We think your problem is due to the execution path : drupal, wordpress and all those framework are a php file being executed in a certain folder A/. When calling a swf object located in B/, the later will consider being executed in A, thus looking for A/panodata/.
Try running your page with firebug plugin turned on (on firefox) so you can see which files it intend to download.
Did you try to specify the hard-coded folder containing ressources with the base parameter of the embed tag in your HTML?
I recommend you ask on krpano forum whether there is a way to specify the swf file to look in its own directory, or maybe on drupal forum on how to embed a swf file with external resources.

Hi, permanent solution is to locate your all files in the same directory with index.php. For example; index.php, pano.swf, panodata, pano0.xml... files should be in same directory. Then your pano.swf will work.It does the trick but if you would upload so many virtual tours then you may be confused:) That's the side effect.

@ememiks: Are not familiar with the open source program called Gallery (www.gallery2.org)?
