Some Questions

In the panorama field, hardware is also part of the success. You can discuss here about it: camera, computer, pano head, anything

Some Questions

by mohammad233b » Sun Dec 27, 2009 10:38 pm

I've got a Canon G10, a simple tripod without pano head and Autopano Giga.My last panos shown in Gallery.

Question1: Is it really a necessity to have a pano head for an amateur panoramist such as me?
Question2: Sometimes Autopano can't successfully detect individual images of each panorama project between some images.
Question3: What should we do if overexposed sunny sky there is ?(It's possible different images with different exposure)

Hi Mohammad,

Answer1+2: No it is not a necessity but it sure helps :-) which leads us to Question2, that by using a head, it may be easier to get the images in order and therefore give you a better stitch
Answer3: you can try and do a separate exposure for the sky and see if Autopano will match it up for you, so yes. Look at HDR as an option

Good luck and happy shooting
