camera 1/4 long screw + fly nut

In the panorama field, hardware is also part of the success. You can discuss here about it: camera, computer, pano head, anything

Pop down to your local hardware store and assemble a 1/4 BSW bolt, a wing nut and a washer - you can then have a screw as long as you wish. Tip- take the camera with you to ensure you get a screw with the correct thread.

Here's one I made earlier ;):

Easy to find in UK, but not in metric-units-based-countries ;)

In fact increasingly hard to find in the UK too, as the large hardware/DIY chains seem only to stock metric now - but smaller hardware stores can still supply. I got mine from a wonderful Alladin's cave of a store in my small village, but then I reckon a lot of their stock dates back to the 1950's!

I'd be happy to supply to order for a small fee. :)
