In the panorama field, hardware is also part of the success. You can discuss here about it: camera, computer, pano head, anything

Paul,

Mahalo nui loa (many many thanks) for these detailed directions to make an external power supply for an Olympus E-series camera. I've already made an external power supply for the GigaPan unit. Having both will help greatly with my current indoor projects with the Hawaii State Art Museum and the University of Hawaii Botany Department Herbarium collection. :D

Paul,

Thanks for the great info here. I have an E-1 I am going to try something similar to this with. However, I would like to add an external battery as I already have this one:

[ul]http://www.batterygeek.net/Portable_Power_Stations_s/38.htm[/ul]

I have an extra broken HLD-2 I should be able to use.:) However, the battery contacts have three wires, black, red, and white. What is each wire? I though DC only had two wires, so I am not sure what the third is for.

Any suggestions how to implement?

Cheers!

LeRoy
