TourHighlights - modify the code after rendering

by gabriel » Thu Oct 06, 2016 4:20 pm

Hi All, i had use the plugin tourhighlight combien with the plugin Spot Range to make a "automatic" tour include hotspot, but i have to modify some values and i cannot find the values of fov, turnspeed and wait of this plugin.
Thank you and have a nice day,

Gabriel.

Gabriel.

ex :
Code: Select all
<data name="fr_spotpoint12_description"><![CDATA[220;55;35]]></data>

PS : i have seen the CDATA into the message.xml, but changing these values have no result ! thank you and have a nice day.
PS : changer les valeurs du plugin dans message.xml n'a pas d'action ! Merci et bonne journée.

Gabriel.

Hi Gabriel,

i don't know the Spot Range plugin until now, so i cannot say if there is any impact between both plugins.
Changing the TourHighlights-settings via the message.xml should work as well, but why not change those values using the PTP GUI?

Regarding the values you have posted, you probably got the sequence wrong:
FOV: field of view (or zoom-factor): values between 1 and 179°
Speed: movement in degrees per second (default: 120)
Wait: time in seconds before the next movement

That is, the first value has to be between 1 and 179, and so on. I will probably add a check for that in a future version.
The zooming also depends on your pano and zoom limit settings, you might check that in the pano preview window.

Hi Compunics,

Thank you for your rapid answer, i just sent you a PM because it's about a project not finish yet.
Yes, the 220 value is not good, it was just to give a sample but it works anyway ;-)
Have a nice day,

Gabriel.

The TourHighlights plugin was not dsigned with a 'pause/resume'-feature. If it works for you this way probably because of a casual interference with the Spot Range plugin. The TourHighlights option to let the user interrupt the presentation mode really means to terminate it.
