Livepano tips?

by thomash » Tue Sep 23, 2014 8:07 pm

Hello,
When shooting for Livepano, is it better to shoot using the same fisheye lens as the pano shots, or is it better to switch to a something narrower, like 18, 35, 50mm to get a higher resolution "crop area" in the video?

When the tour is published, does the Livepano plugin recompress the video in another format, size, projection? Or does it simply keep the original video and warp it into the viewer?

Thanks

Definitely use the VERY SAME lens you use for the rest of the sphere.

Video is compressed at the end of livepano process in a standard res for desktop and a low res for devices.
