Livepano + Partial panoramas...

by jarane » Sun Apr 27, 2014 2:13 am

Hi,
I'm working on a project consisting of 10 full spherical panoramas and 1 partial spherical panorama.
When I click "import > Livepano", the program does not recognize the partial pano… unfortunately for me, that is where I need to integrate 3 videos.

Does anyone know if Livepano works on partial panoramas?
Is it a glitch?

Thanks in advance,
E.C.

Hello,

Unfortunately it's not a glitch, only fully spherical panoramas (360°x180°) can support Livepanos.

Wouldn't it be possible to make an equirectangular picture of this partial panorama with APG (set window to maximum size in stead of 'clamp to content'), blend in the videos with Livepano and then limit the view in PtP?

I thought about that.
Will let you know if it's possible.

Hi..

Well, it might be possible but you will need to run some tests... What I suggest you do is add blank space to your pano to make it a full sphere.. Then add your single shot in the normal way..

Then add your pano into PTP and process the LivePano. Then Crop the Pano... ;) It seems to want to crop from the left so you might be able to work it out to view as you want with LivePano..
