Hi All,
I was happily moving along and suddenly, I received the following critical error message when I tried to render:
cannot write into file "C:/documents and settings/User Name/Local Settings/Temp/APP2_Blended Layer.tif"
I didn't have any funky naming schemes.
Can anyone offer suggestions?
Thanks,
Martha

I rebooted my computer. That seemed to have solved the problem. *sheepis grin*

I would like someone else to confrim this but I seem to recall getting this message as one of the (many possible) symptoms of memory getting low. Kolor have done work to improve memory management but haven't removed all the problems.

Having exactly the same problem.
However, it is only rarely resolved by a complete restart.
Have 24 GIG Ram on a Windows 7 Service Pack Intel.
Tried adjusting the RAM in preferences, with no change.
Only stiching 30 - 50 1900x1200 images.

Can you try changing the default temp folder (restart autopano) before doing the rendering ?
Sometimes, the default folder can have strange authorization.
