Problems Detecting - Any Ideas - Samples Attached

I'm new with AutopanoPro and getting some great results - BUT - am also finding a number of image groups are not detecting as panos - OR - maybe only 2/3 of the images from a group are.

Example ... these 2 images are not autodetecting... looking at them, I notice the horizon isn't level in the 2nd image.  Maybe that's why.  Any tips on HOW to get images (hand held) that autodetect well .. I'm finding it kind of "hit or miss."

Thanks.

My throughts : these two have only little overlap and boths the beach and the clouds have little that help APP to place controll points. Can't really blame APP. Clouds and monocolor area's are always difficult. And then also shot handheld which can cause paralax problems.
I recommend to add controll points manually and hope to make the best out of it.

Those are detecting without any problem with Standard Detection Q and "Force all images in the same pano" option. RMS of 1.90.

Some of my panoramas, posted in the Autopano Pro flickr group.

You should aim for 25-30% overlap between images.

If you have a single row of images then set Edit/Settings/Detection/Links appropriately - see first screenshot.

I didn't have too much difficulty stitching these two images. I removed all autodetected CPs and placed new ones and use the Vertical lines tool to level the horizon. See these tutorials:

Stitched using 2.0.9 without any intervention.
Color correction on, LDR.

DrSlony,

perhaps you have set options differently than the default.
