Madinat Jumeirah, owned by Jumeirah, is the largest resort in Dubai, a mini city designed

Welcome to the forum...
A very impresive pano.

The web site is also very well designed I think. The UI for displaying a pano is excellent too.

Simply said, wonderful.

Question here is: I was told that it is rather "dangeorus" taking photos with a tripod in Dubai. Isa this really true?

Greetings from Germany
Georg

The picture is made behind the camera.......

Re: Dubai, Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeirah at night (HDR)

Thanks for everybody.

- in night photo I'v used Canon 450D with 8mm sigma fisheye. 6 shots raw.  +/-2exp.  for HDR.
(and a little color correction of course smile

Taking panorama photos in Dubai with tripod is not "dangerous" just difficult. sad
Often need permission or good contact -  if you don't want just "shot" and "run" smile
Usually without any problem you can use tripod, just before start shoting inform them.

Here is the daylight version of Madinat Jumeirah with Burj Al Arab

Full panorama at http://360emirates.com/virtual_tours/83 … Arab-Dubai

Thanks again.
