When loading files for stitching... How about a feature like "Photomatix Pro3" has where you can select "Type of file" and one of the options is "Raw" and another is "Jpg".
This is great for those of us that shoot both Raw & jpg.
Quite often I will do a quick "jpg" render on site just to make sure everything will go together correctly back at the studio where I work in "RAW".

Yes please!!!
When shooting on long trips I do raw plus jpeg so I can look at images on my netbook. The thing is sometimes I switch to jpeg only mode if at the end of a card or I want to shoot a jpeg burst sequence. So how about instead a check box that says if two files with same name only use raw

sorry dont really understand your posting.
if I add immages I can say *.jpg or I can say *.raw so I can add jpgs or raws to my group.
(dont use "Photomatix Pro3", so I cant see in original...)
right to the APG selection (weheer *.jpg etc. can be placed) is a pullodwn menu located. Do you mean that here filters like TIFF, JPG, RAW etc. should be listed to be selectable?
Liebe Gruesse,
Georg

Hi Gkaefer,
Ok... I give up... Where and how are you doing that?
In APG I tried... "File/Select Images", there are no options. I tried other things as well.
Yes... in "Windows Exployer" I could "View/Arrange Icons by/Type" and then click and drag into APG. Not a bad idea, but it would be nice to have the other option.

On windows if File/Select Images dialog, you can type in the typing area next to button *.jpg and it will filter the view. I was hoping though that there would be some way to do this with browse folder.

sorry for late reply...
see screenshot.
add images (1.) on place (2.) you can write manually *.jpg and than presse return so all images in actual selected folder will be filtered (3.).
and def. it would be great to have s selection posibillity on right side. In fact for what is this selection option there if you currently cant select something?

This does not work under linux
We definitly need some pre-defined filters in the combobox...

Thanks Georg,
That worked.
I still Wish for "the selection posibillity on right side". So much to remember and so little gray matter storage space.
