I am making virtual tours online and am having trouble showing the user which way is which. I have made a website where on the left side of the page there is the panorama, and on the right side of the page i have a map. currently i set the initial view in the panorama to point north, so when the user gets confused about the direction he is facing, he can click on home and the view will be facing north. i would love to be able to have a little arrow on the map, that displays the way the panorama is facing. so when the user rotates the panorama to the west, the arrow on the map points west. when the user moves the panorama to the south, the arrow on the map points south. can this be done? could this arrow be included in the html template, or as a separate swf file?
thanks
Matt

yes, exactly like the compass example. is there any way to do that with autopano tour? to have a compass on the top right of the panorama? also, is it be possible to have just that compass as a separate object so i could have the panorama in one window on the main page and the compass somewhere else on the same page (for example on a map so the user could see where the location of the panorama is and which way they are facing)?

As for now, there is no way to add the compass plugin from Autopano Tour (without xml coding I mean).
I noted the idea. But if this plugin is integrated in APT then it will certainly be part of the main visit window (not independent).
