360ºx180º Bracketed Pano -Problem with Sky/Clouds Stitching

Hi !

I made some Full Spherical Panoramas in the Alps. Auto Pano works perfect but I still have a lot of problems stitching the sky together. Panorama was shot by 7 images every 30º. Of course clouds changed (moving & shape changes !) during the full shooting slightly, so the automatic procedure does not work. How ever I could manualy set the points my self as I can "imagine" which clouds even after moving and changing shapes belong together. Do you guys have any workaround to solve this issue ? I think clouds/sky should be a common problem for all of you ?!

Thanks for any coment that could help me !

Marc

PS

OK, at least I could use photoshop, I know, but I would better know how to use AutoPano for this...

shooting fast moving objects really isn´t the domain of stitched photography . . . . cool

However - smartblend usually handles it well. And there is the way of rendering seperate layers and work them over in Photoshop manually by erasing parts.

You also can do it before stitching: erase clouds, people, cars and so which appear at different places in Photoshop and leave just the parts you want to stitch. Save the pictures as PNG with tranparency.

That also works very well.

best, Klaus

Marc,

Welcome to the forum.

Try using the Control Point Editor to remove all control points (CPs) from the clouds:

then re-optimise and render using Smartblend.
