The photographers's world is little !
I have just had the idea of chronophotography when, last year, I had seen your picture !wink
I remembered that some month ago I had followed a bird flying and I have transformed the different pictures into a pano
Here it is

Re: Le vol de l'Heron

Andre,

I love your flying bird chronophotography. I think it would make a cool large-scale printed pano.

I think the following is why I like chronophotography so much . . .

When I was a little boy, I fooled with my dad's 8mm movie camera to produce crude film animations. Since then, I've become a fan of Hollywood's old-time movie effects artists like Willis O'Brien or Ray Harryhausen.

Nowadays, movie animation is not done by hand, but rather in the computer. However, it is still done by skilled artists who still need to study the motion of animals to produce realistic results.

Besides you and I submitting these chronophotographies, in my opinion, there seems to be surprisingly little interest in this type of photography that pano software has made more easily possible. Go figure eh? (I think they are cool)

Thanks for sharing Andre,
