I have installed Windows 7 64-bit, replacing XP and installede Autopano 64-bit.
But when I come to the panorama editor, theres is no image in the main window.
I can render it from there, but i have no possibility for adjustment.
How can i fix this??

Was this a clean install of Windows 7 or an upgrade of an installation of XP?

Do you have GPU enabled in APP settings? Also, in the Panorama Editor, check at the bottom to see at what % magnification the pano is displayed at. There were random reports of panos "showing" at less than 1% or something like that, thus hardly visible.

GPU processing does not work. When i enable it i got this GPU-error message: "The GL_ARB_texture_float Open GL extension is not present".
There is no image whatever magnification i have.

stupid question: also tried with version 2.0.6 ?
stupid question 2: brand new win7 install = at the same time of installation its outdated. >200mb updates available... win7 updated?
perhaps check graphics card - driver - win7 driver must not be the best choice, perhaps newer version from manufaturor homepage can help...

Yes i have also tried version 2.0.6, the latest
Windows 7 is updated "up to date"
I have the latest driver for graphic card (Matrox Mill M9120 pcix16), but have not tried older drives
I suppose Kolor must have a solution for this (i have posted them the problem)
PS: There is no stupid questions!

Could you post a screenshot, maybe it will help?

ok, can you give me a hint how i do that? how do i post a screenshot?
thanks

In the settings, when i enable the "gpu-processing", i got this error message: "The GL_ARB_texture_float Open GL extension is not present".

There must be an solution on this problem, but what?
I got answer from support "It must be a driver issue", but that does not help me much
Is there not one Autopano-user with a similiar problem?

I changed the slot for the graphic card in the motherboard, and then i finally had the image in the panorama editor.
but after a restart it was gone again!!!

Alexandre J: you fixed it on this link!
http://www.autopano.net/forum/t7246-app … ama-window
can you fix it for me too?

I downloaded previous versions and had to go back to 1.4.2 to get it work

Hmmm, I suppose it's some kind of "misunderstanding" between the Matrox driver and APP. Sorry that I cannot be of more help... Have you tried removing the Matrox drivers and letting W7 find/use his own?

How committed are you to this Matrox graphics card?
Perhaps the solution is to switch to a different card - at least in the short term?
You could pick up a used Nvidia GPU-based - and hence known to work - card pretty cheaply.

If i remove the Matrox card and let W7 find its own, the image appear in the panorama window.
Its strange, i have bought a expensive graphic card which dont work perfect with app, but the buildt-in card works. I dont understand that.
here is the link to the card:

The Matrox M-series cards are not primarily aimed at graphics applications AFAIK.
IMO you'd do better with a used Nvidia GeForce gaming card which would definitely work with APP/APG GPU mode.

Ok, maybe it will be better with another card
But it looks that i finally have found the solution on my main problem: "No image in panorama editor"
Look at this link: (M-series - M9120 PCIe x16 - drivers - windows 7 64-bit)
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/support/drivers/
There is two drives. I had downloaded the newest (upper).
I decided to try the oldest of the two (bottom). And now i´m happy, the image is in the panorama editor (have restarted several times).
There is still no gpu though (the 3 images earlier in this thread is still there), but that is maybe not so important(?)
I say thank you for all help in this case (but maybe it will appear later, you never know)

1 Sometimes a computer manufacturer will have a slightly different driver, so if the card came with your computer check with the manufacturer.
2 Don't remember if I caused this by too much link fiddling, or APP did it on the initial stitch, but sometimes the pano will show at a point other than the center of the screen, so you have to zoom out and then enlarge the crop area to find it.

Let me just encourage you to get a video card that will allow you to use the GPU acceleration in APP - it's beyond amazing
in terms of speeding up your work! And a card costs $100 after all.
