I am having problems with stitching images of newspapers. Essentially, the camera that I am using pans overhead of the newspaper and takes several high resolution images for each page. When I run the images through Auto Pano Giga, the resulting image will show subtle mishaps, such as skewed lines, words & sentences, as well as letters with added shapes. I do make sure to overlap the images when shooting them. It is still readable, but unforuntately not acceptional for archival purpose. Any feedback on this issue I'm having would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Justin

Justin - could you be a bit more precise?
Do you move the camera parallel to the papers or do you use a "Nodal"-adapter?
Did you set the NPP correct then? What kind of lens do you use?
I guess you mabe moving the camera parallel to the papers. In that case you should set the focal-lengths to 1000mm.
APG than assumes no parallax and should work fine.

The camera is moved parrallel to the papers (on a track) and the lens being used is a 24-70 zoom lens. Unfortunately, I cannot alter the distance of the track or the table that the paper lays on, which limits the sort of lens that could be used. As I need a final image of 400 dpi, I need to shoot with the 70 mm setting, so far as I understand.
