PS3 - Home - Redbull Airrace

well outside its cold - so its welcome to shoot images without leaving the couch....
PS3 home - Red Bull Airrace is a cool game inside PS3 virtual world ;-)

the tour and the other PS3 panos I made are availbale: http://www.burgspiele-salzburg.at/Galerie/Panorama/ps3/

The Quality of the images is not very good. I needed around 30 images per pano (1200x700 pixel) made "by hand" with the virtual camera to get a 360x150 pano. inside PS3 its not possible to take images up to 360x180...

first I had to convert the original jpgs made inside PS3 to tiff (with gimp) and than saved them again as jpg...
Alexandre gave feedback that it is/could be an metadata issue: http://www.autopano.net/forum/t7967-ap- … peg-images

blue sky its much easier to stich with APT than real blue sky. each single image was located on perfect correct place (even without import plugin like with merlin/papywizzard ;-))

very difficult are mooving objects - planes are 100% recognized as ghosts and eliminated, so using layers is required...

the flash videos I made with following work flow:

taking single images from PS3
using Magix Video Pro X2 to make an avi video with desired length and fade in/out and cutting ....
the exported avi I converted to flash .fla format with the free "Any Video converter". The swf format I tried,
but than the final pano got dramatically slow while moving left/right/up/down in the pano.

Liebe Gruesse,
Goerg
