Hotspots Templates

Ladies and gentleman here is the link of some 3d arrow hotspots, 4 colors and 12 angles, 50x50 pixels. I made them with swift 3d and I am going to share more colors and objects in the future, i hope:) They are all free to use but share your pano links to show people how they work. Have a good day.

Re: Hotspots Templates

Thanks Ememiks.

Any way to control the spinning speed?
What are these files for that are in some of the folders?  ._Anorth.swf

Re: Hotspots Templates

Hi Marv

._Anorth.swf files are useless and you can safely delete them. When you .zip files under mac os those files are created but they are only visible under windows and linux.They are macintosh system files, I think mac os use them for indexing for search results or something else.

To control the spinning speed all files will have to be worked and exported from beginning:) I will try for an example and post it soon.

Re: Hotspots Templates

Here is the yellow series, spinning speed decreased.

For those who are curious about the A letter in front of some directions, it means Angled:) They are 45 degrees angled in z coordinate.

Re: Hotspots Templates

hmm... actually I've no idea how to use it. Any description available what to do? can I use them within APT before exporting the final tour or have I to exchange files after I exported my tour from APT?

thanks,
Georg

Re: Hotspots Templates

Hi gkaefer;

You can use these swf files as point hotspot.

Simply in APT in hotspot editor create a point hotspot, select the hotspot and in hotspot properties - object menu select the swf files as object. That's it.

Re: Hotspots Templates

for my PS3-Home winterland panos the default hotspot point is too dark. I created one which can be seen better if the pano has dark colours.
in the zip file I attached an animated gif, the swf and the .web project file I created the swf with. Its MAGIX Extreme Webdesigner 5, for autopano tour only the swf is needed...)

its free to use for anyone (without any sort of guarantee...)

the link: http://www.burgspiele-salzburg.at/Galer … ground.zip

an example pano containing this point/hotspot: http://www.burgspiele-salzburg.at/Galer … santa.html

PS: the speed of the animated gif & swf is 24 frames per second. in the tour its faster - 50fps (?)
(I didnt change the default values in xml files...)

Georg

Re: Hotspots Templates

Hi gkaefer:)

That's why it is hard to optimize the speed with krpano player. The default fps for APT exported flash panoramas is 60 fps. The first way which I have applied for my hotspots is to set your flash movie 60 fps in the software which you are using, if it is editable, and then set your hotspot speed or timing to your liking.

The second way is as described krpano documentation; export the panorama with XML output and add the following codes to every single XML file for your needs, in this case it is 24 fps but also it is not suggested lower than 30 fps, because the anti aliasing and refresh quality would be bad.

<display fps="40" details="20" movequality="HIGH" stillquality="high" />

perfect tip! for the next one I'll take it...
the first hotspot I created I said to me: ok inside creation tool use as slow as needed so its final speed in pano is as intended ;-)))
