What are these special features which will play locally & not on the server?
I enabled the check box > restarted the program I don't find anything new added & the feature check box shows disabled so is it actually getting enabled or not?

I checked it and after reopening the "Register KRPano" menu again the checkbox is disabled again...

Yup the check box remain disabled may be the special features are not yet implemented.
Just curious what are these features.

Special features is may be not well choose. It's more a demo mode.
When you don't have krpano license, you can check this option for trying multi-resolution and krpano plugins.
But If you already have a krpano license it changes nothing.
