My default optimization setting is "not to do lens correction". When I create a new group by browsing a folder, it's respected.
When I use "menu: Select images" or when I select some images in an existing group then choose "copy or move to new group", the new group doesn't respect this default optimization setting.

Default optimization settings are reset to "fisheye default optimization settings" when ...well, it's difficult to find out when this change is occuring!
For example opening the images properties window for fisheye images causes a reset even when one changed the settings just before that. Changing the settings and then launching the detection insures the changed settings are taken into account.
Switching automatically to "fisheye default optimization settings" is fine, but ...

As I have not yet FE, I have no opportunity to confirm your findings.
Because of lack of documentation, APP/APG 2.xx looks still to be beta version and we don't know if this or that behavior is intended by dev's team or just a mistake.

Bizarrement, Kolor n'a pas l'habitude d'annoncer les mises à jour de la doc... (ou alors très discretement, alors qu'à mon avis ça mérite un post dans le forum Announcements.)

Fixed the setting issue in codebase.
Fixed the bug that prevent the fisheye optimization preset to be used when selecting image instead of browsing a folder.
We switch to fisheye option at group detection. It does only work in this mode.
