I realy hoped this would finally come up in one of the updates, but nothing so far. I take most Panos with a Canon 30D or 5D and the Peleng Fisheye, and unlike in one of the early Alpha versions, APP dosn't stack my bracketing shots anymore, what is, on several panos so far, quite frustrating.
Would it be so hard to make a option in the Group Window context men, that you can turn selected photos into a stack (and of course, explode the stack again). This realy would save a lot of work on some panos and I could use the new "Single Row" mode again too.
Looking forward to see that in 2.0.2 and kepe up the great work.

If you used AEB then images should be assigned to BKT stacks.
It works for me with images shot with AEB on a Nikon P5100 compact - the only camera I have with AEB.
But if you bracket manually then it won't work.
Assignment to BKT stacks works (only) from the EV bias value in the EXIF as I understand it.

Well, yes and no.
Here's my test image set for this post
12 images shot with Nikon P5100 compact with FC-E8 FE convertor - 4-around with AEB of 3 steps, -1/0/+1:

If on first starting APG 2.0.1 you creat a New Group and use Add images it does not assign them to BKT stacks which is what I would expect - Group 1 in screenshot.
If you then use the Select images button or File/Browse folder it does assign them to BKT stacks, again as expected - Group 2 in screenshot.
But if you then create a New Group and again use Add images it - to my surpirse - does assign the images to BKT stacks - Group 3 in screenshot.
I haven't a clue what's going on....
....
BTW is there a way to 'unassign' a stack? I would like to be able to do that to optionally manually remove selcted images.

Andrew yes I noticed that too before, its obviously buggy and I don't see why stacks shouldn't be created using either of those two ways. We need a third button in each group to open up a new panel where we can manipulate stacks.

Yes we do.
We certainly need a more 'flexible' way of assigning images to stacks than solely, and automatically, via the EV bias value in the EXIF.
For example, the Merlin/Papywizard 'group' has developed a way of performing automatic extended exposure bracketing (more extensive a range of bracklets than offered by the built-in AEB) and depending on how that is setupo/implemented by the user currently such images sets may or may not be automatically assigned to stacks by APP/APG v2.x.

I always shoot panos in manual mode, and for the ones with AEB on, mostly -2/0/+2. On the 30D it worked nicely with the Peleng on, but not with e 5D now. It only works when I have a lens with contacts so the camera know the aperture, but with the Peleng, the aperture is always 0.0.
We need a third button in each group to open up a new panel where we can manipulate stacks.
This sounds pretty good, I would actually be happy when you can convert selected images to stacks and also explode them, should be 2 more options in the context menu.

EXIFtool shows the 5D has an "AEB Bracket Value" which is the EV change _even in manual mode_ and the "bracket mode" (AEB) and "bracket value" (-64 for -2EV, 0 for 0 EV) So APP could use these values.
There is also a Measured EV -- this is the same for each image in a bracket, but it changes between bracketed sets. Perhaps this is the elusive "reference" that we all dream of to say how much brighter one shot is than another? (i.e. this may be related to the EV when the camera's exposure meter is at 0)
