I have my project filename set to %i %j which in practice took the filenames of the first and last images in the file list seen in the panorama editor's layers list.

In the first screenshot we can see that the last list name is 3883 and so is the project name, at the top of the screenshot.

For the second screenshot I have added image 3885, as can be seen from the image list. But the project name has not been updated.

One can seen that the value of 'N' is N11 in both cases. N labels the template parameter %n - number of images in panorama. This is not updated either. In fact, in the second screenshot there are 11 images, = to N11, but that is because other images were deleted earlier.

I would like to add here, as a relevant and long-term issue, the following comment. If one adds an image whose name is 'earlier' than the first image in the layers list that image is still added to the end of the list.

Taking the case here, I could have added 3869. In the past that would mean that %i and %j would take the value 3870 and 3869 and the project filename would be 3870 _ 3869, first and last.

Not very informative. So this is a request to re-sort, and renumber, the image list when its content changes...
