[APG b1 WinXP32 GPU] What can you do with .KRO files?

You can use it in APT ( still need to be checked ).
You can use it in Photoshop as a Raw format in input. We'll make a documentation about that after the release.

This KRO format was first created for Paris-20-gigapixels project, to be able to make the rendering.
It's not yet totally available in all our tools, but of course will in the future.
I'm not even sure we should have talked about it / show it in the build because it seems to create a lot of confusion.

I'm sure GIMP can handle pure raw too, but I'm not used to it.

KRO file description :

Header is 20 bytes long :
4 bytes : "KRO1" signature
unsigned long : Width
unsigned long : Height
unsigned long : depth = > 8 bits, 16 bits, 32 bits
unsigned long : ncomp => number of composente, 4 by default, RGB + Alpha
Data * : the data uncompressed

Latest news is that the Gigapan uploader will support the KRO format smile it may not make it into the most recent release but Gigapan are working on implementing it.
