Ok... So I shot a pano the right way with a tripod. BUT I used full auto. Somehow, I cannot get minor ghosting to go away. Minor but visible ghosting. I added control points, I removed control points, and things are just slightly off. Is there a conversion factor for Canon xsi and the TOKINA

I have had no trouble getting jpegs shot on full auto to stitch in the past, but now I am just missing something. Can someone please make some suggestions that do not involve a re-shoot:)?

This lens works well for me with a Nikon body and a Nodal Ninja 3 pano-head. There is no convertion factor and App recognizes this lens provided EXIF are found in the source images (to verify that, click on Images Properties icon:
)
Here are the locations of the NPP following Michael Thoby : http://michel.thoby.free.fr/Tokina_10_17/NPP-Tokina.jpg

Did you use a panohead, or just a regular tripod head?
How close was the nearest object in your pano, and how far away was the farthest object?
Sounds like you have a parallax issue.
I suggest trying smartblend. If that doesn't do it:
1. put all the CPs on far away things and reoptimize.
2. render with anything except smartblend, and output a PSB/PSD with layers.
3. go into photoshop, move the blended layer to the top, and selectively erase.

Newfoundland,
Do you have a proper pano head? - you need one if you shoot with a fisheye lens.
Don't shoot on full auto.
Post an example image here on the forum so we can see what you are talking about.
Upload a set of your images on the Web and I'll be happy to download them and have a look to see why you might be having problems.

How do I post here on the forum so that you can see it?

If you were to edit your post which asked the question you would find an Image Upload option right below the message box.
You can have up to 20 images per post, each image must be less then 4000x3000 pixels and 800 KB.
