i had this issue a few times since i'm using autopano and do'nt understand why the picture goes like that:
any help or explanations are welcome

Yes, this is typical of some wrong control point ( or a wrong link ). Check the panorama, reoptimize and you are done.

When or what is the fit case to enable Lens Distortion?

Lesn distortion is the fact of correcting pincushion distortion or so.
When shooting long focal, it can often be disabled ( 100 mm or more ).
The shorter the focal, the more you need it. It will also depend on the quality of your lens.
For fisheye, you definitively need it.

So shooting with 10mm I should keep it enabled, that's what I do.
