Temporary tiff file bit depth and dcraw settings

In regard to this post I was wondering whether anyone from Kolor could explain some things to us:
1- What sort of temporary TIFF files does APP/APG produce when we feed it RAWs? Are they signed? Floating point?
2- Are the temporary TIFF files linear or gamma corrected?
3- What demosaicing algorithm is used? Bilinear, VNG, PPD, AHD, EAHD, HPHD, VNG-4, other?
4- Is any highlight recovery done in dcraw?

16bits tiff.

gamma corrected to match the gamma used by default in embedded preview jpeg.
