Papywizard question

A beginners question about the function of the Papywizard software. Whilst I'm waiting for the tronisoft hardware i have experimented with using the  Orion head and controller to take a few images. The sequence for  -  move to position, wait second, trigger shutter, move to next location relies on setting the head at the same reference point each time (When wanting to repeat the sequence). It seems that the software I've downloaded (Papywizard V 1.2.1) will allow for the head to point at a position (say 0 degrees) and when the start images position is set (13 degrees) and  the last position set (85 degrees) will take 5 images for the pano. If I want to repeat the sequence do I just click on the shoot button or do I have to reset the haed back at position 0 again.

Re: Papywizard question

As long as you don't switch off the head, the position is maintained as absolute; so, you can reshoot the same pano again and again. You can even change some params (say the focal length), and the new number of images will be recomputed to shoot the same pano.

Also not that the latest stable release is the 1.4.0...

Re: Papywizard question

Note that you can use Papywizard without real hardware: by default, it runs in some sort of simulation mode, and is fully functionnal - except that it does not drive the head wink
