Dark and Flat images in Autopano

I recently bought AutoPano and the imported images I bring into AP and the final stitched image are very dark and flat (decreased contrast) compared to the original CR images I view in Lightroom. I created a pano in  Photoshop with the results I expected in terms of color, exposure and contrast. I have posted the two, unedited photos here so you can see the difference.  I have checked all my settings and they are at the default settings recommended. I use Windows Vista. I would appreciate any help as I cannot use AP with these results.

Re: Dark and Flat images in Autopano

Where did you post the two images you refer to?

What camera are you using? Are you importing RAW images?

Re: Dark and Flat images in Autopano

I thought I had posted 2 images of the correct size but apparently I did not do something correctly.

I am importing RAW files (CR2) that were captured with a Canon XT. What I discovered after I posted my inital question was that if I imported the images as JPEGs or TIFFs there was not problem. In Lightroom 2 I exported the CR2 images onto my Desktop as both TIFFs and JPEGs and AP did fine importing those images. The issue is with the CR2 files that I had imported into Lightroom 2. I tried something else tonight that was also interesting. I took 3 images with my camera and imported those RAW files onto my Desktop (not with Lightroom). AutoPro opened those RAW files from my desktop with the the correct color and exposure.

I don't understand what is going on.  I would appreciate any help .

Thanks,

Beate
