I am looking for the absolutely the best Panoramic Head for multirow panos.
I use DSLR with a heavy Nikon 28-70 F2.8 lens, which generally outweights the camera...
Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael Ezra

Michael,
I built my own. It is for a smaller camera but it is so rigid I expect it would work very well for a larger camera (adapting the dimensions accordingly)

Good luck

Thank you, Scott. Building your own is always a fun project!
I also found this one: http://reallyrightstuff.com/pano/index.html but the Ultimate Pro package is $800...
I will proably end up buying this one, unless will find a less expensive alternative which is as light, sturdy, robust, presize, etc...

Have you taken a look at the Nodal Ninja?
http://www.nodalninja.com/
price performance ratios are high.

capacious, thanks! its a good one, but not compatible with Fuji S3...

Hmm.... I could swear that ckiely said he uses both a Nodal Ninja and a Fuji S3 body.
Maybe check with Him before you drop $800
Also as well, Bill at Nodal Ninja is very responsive and helpful with questions
I'm sure he would be able to confirm if the S3 is not suitable for the Nodal Ninja
btw - There is a new version being released May 22 - the Nodal Ninja 3
and all the new features look great.

I got a very quick! response from Bill at Nodal Ninja - Fuji S3 is too big for NN3 bracket (new version)...

Thats too bad,
If you do end up getting the RRS rig - please post back and let
the forum know what your experiences are with it.
Sorry if I wasted your time with the wild goose chase.

Not at all:) Thank for your help. Kaidan's new Spherical bracket looks good and it is half the price of RRS... they are not available for 2 weeks though... In any case, I will post my feedback here.
