Before I go to sweden, I think I want to get a Nodal Ninja.
I'll likely have a Sigma 12-24mm when I go as well for my Canon EOS 30D and Canon EOS 500N film camera, though I'd like to use it with longer lenses too, such as my 50mm G.Zuiko f/1.4 etc.
The one Im looking at from the Australian supplier is..
"Nodal Ninja 3 MKII Complete Cased Kit Panorama Head "
"Supplied in Kit
Includes: Hard Case, Detent Rings 0/15, 18/20, 25.7/36, 45/60 Small Parts Kit, Rail Stops, 1/4"to3/8" thread adaptor and N-CP1 Camera Plate."
$299 AUD + GST (we're on 0.95 cents to the US dollar atm).
There's a whole bunch of other stuff on there too - http://nodalninja.com.au/products/
Thoughts?
For example of what kind of things Id use it for the follow is handheld 28mm on 30D, 58 shots

I like my Nodal Ninja 5 Lite. Will handle just about any camera body and lens you are likely to use.

So I am better off spending more on the 5L than the Ninja 3 Mk II?
How much of a difference is there?
I'm looking for opinions and experiences on using these, such as ease of use, set up time, learning curve, how fiddly it is etc etc

The most difficult is to match the different parts: tripod, panohead, camera, lenses (and the backpack
) If there is a FF DSLR or heavy lens in your future then NN 5 is clearly recommendable.

Alright, my tripod is a manfrotto clone (goldphoto, identical), the large legs.
I will definately be using the film SLR for it, and in the future a 5D when i get enough monies.
Considering my lenses and cameras, the 5L Complete Cased kit + 90/120 detent ring on the website I gave has all the parts I'll need?
No need for EZ Leveller and Quick Release?
edit: these are the legs I have - http://www.sz-goldphoto.com/ois/usersit … ;visual=-1
