Light Sturdy Tripod?

Hello all. Just got back from Florida lugging my 3001 tripod with a 3030 head (Bogen) and boy is my arm tired! I originally bought it for large format photography. I was looking at some of the carbon fiber tripods with 4 leg segments. They are quite expensive. Anyine have any luck with the DynaTran tripods? Here's a link:

I don't know about that dynatran stuff, I've looked at it before. Usually you get what you pay for - but that does not mean you have to pay an arm and a leg. I have the el carmagne 630 and it's really great - along with a great warranty. Goes for about $340 (640 has 4 segments)
