Hi!
When we make tours for iPads we usually use miniatures as stacks.
In earlier versions stack-miniatures showed a cubeface. That was GOOD! (image1)
Now the miniatures are equis. That´s BAD - because equis are less recognizable, too much distorted as clients say! (image2)
What can i do to have cubefaces shown like before instead of equis?

The first screenshot is from a pano made with an earlier PTP-version.
Seems the earlier versions used cubefaces instead of equis.
When an equi-thumb is opened on the iPad as stack the image-content is too small because too much distorted for being easily recognized.
Clients complained about that.

Oh....I'd never noticed.

I agree - same for desktop and laptop platforms too IMO.
I much prefer the square format.

Klaus, for this one I just ended up making my own crops in Photoshop and substituting the previews that Panotour created with my custom previews to get rid of the distortion and make the scenes more recognizable. I did this after my last final export out of Panotour of course.

Hey Aaron!
I made screenshots of cropped and non-distorted previews, renamed them and copied them intio the data-menue-folder.
That works fine - but in the xml they´re scaled up to some value . .
See it here: http://www.360impressions.de/WuppertalPad/
I didn´t find the part in the xml where i can set the final size of the images to appear.
So nevertheless how i resize the images: they keep their too big size in the pano . . . I´m sure it´s only twoo or three values to change in the xml - but WHICH ONE? ![]()

Hi Klaus,
Here are the lines to modify in your XML file :
line 58 : set(plugin[get(thumbname)].width , 125);
line 98 : add(xdst, 135);
line 102 : tween(plugin[%1].width , 250);
line 109 : tween(plugin[%1].width , 125);
